Midwifery innovations in OLOL that respond to COVID-19

Babies don’t stop coming just because there’s a Pandemic. The attached video outlines the Midwifery Innovations that that have been introduced in response to COVID 19 in Our Lady of Lourdes Maternity Unit. Although many services within healthcare have been restricted due to the Pandemic, maternity services continue as before but with new ways of working.
This two minute video was developed for The 2020 International Day of the Midwife and showcases the changes introduced to ensure our mothers and babies are safe during these unprecedented times.
