Staff counselling, the Department of Psychology and the Social Work Department in Beaumont Hospital have introduced Stress First Aid sessions for staff.  These are short half hour briefings on a framework for thinking about the stress we have been experiencing over recent months and how to support ourselves and our colleagues.  Developed initially for military personnel and first responders, it has recently been adapted to support health care providers during the coronavirus pandemic.
