Connolly Hospital achieves good levels of compliance with the National Standards for Safer Better Healthcare

Connolly Hospital and RCSI Hospital Group welcomes the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) report on compliance with the National Standards for Safer Better Healthcare (NSSBH)

This report was based on an announced inspection carried out by HIQA in Connolly Hospital on 6^th & 7^th December 2022. Overall HIQA reported good levels of compliance with the NSSBH in Connolly Hospital. The Inspectors found that the Hospital had formalised governance structures and monitoring systems in place to identify and act on opportunities to improve the quality and safety of services provided. In addition, it was noted that there were systems and processes in place to respond promptly, openly and effectively to complaints and concerns raised by people using the service. Where opportunities for improvement were identified by HIQA the hospital is committed to proactively addressing these in the interest of patients, families and staff.
