Are you a nurse or midwife interested in sharing your clinical research findings, audit findings, or quality improvements in a peer-reviewed professional journal?

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you! The Chief Director of Nursing and Midwifery office is offering five scholarship bursaries in the amount of €5,000 each to support publication in a relevant journal.

Successful applicants will receive financial support to cover expenses related to the publication, such as:

  • travel subsistence,
  • ongoing educational support,
  • or backfill of work hours to allow time for research.

All expenditures must be compliant with HSE National Financial Regulations and tax compliance, with line manager approval required. In addition to financial support, successful candidates will also receive mentorship from the Chief Director of Nursing and Midwifery office, as well as an allocated clinical and academic mentor to help ensure a successful outcome of the publication.
