Cross Hospital Site Midwifery Adaptation Programme launched by the RCSI Hospital Group

Inaugural Midwifery Adaptation Programme Launched by RCSI Hospital Group to Elevate Maternal Care Across Hospital Sites

On the 4th September 2023, The RCSI Hospital Group (RCSI HG) were delighted to launch a cross Hospital Site Midwifery Adaptation Programme.

Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda & Cavan General Hospital welcomed five international candidates to this inaugural Adaptation Programme. This programme will facilitate the completion of academic training and clinical practice placements to enable required standards to be met in order to gain NMBI registration and practice as a registered midwife in Ireland.

A warm welcome is offered to each of the candidates and they are wished every success in this journey. Sincere thanks is extended to all involved from across the RCSI HG Hospitals and the CNME, Ardee in making this programme possible.
