Call for Abstracts – Submission Form

A maximum word count applies to all fields in the Abstract Information section.

Please note – Abstracts cannot be altered once they have been submitted.

The closing date for receipt of abstracts is COB, Friday 9th February 2024.

Notification of successful abstracts will be issued by Monday 19th February 2024.

A confirmation email including a PDF version of your submitted abstract will be emailed directly to you within 3 working days.

Provide a background to your quality improvement/patient safety /Innovation project. Describe the problem you are trying to address or an opportunity to improve your service.

Describe the methods/approach used to complete your project i.e. The Model for Improvement, PDSA, LEAN, etc or outline the main stages in undertaking your project.

Describe what you are trying to achieve.

Describe the change you have implemented.

Outline what you measured to demonstrate the impact of your project.

Outline the results of your project and if your project aims were met.

Summarise the impact of this initiative for example to patients/relatives, staff, your service or financially.

Has long-term sustained improvement been achieved? Or, describe a plan to sustain improvement.

For example is there opportunity to share the learning and spread this initiative to other areas?
