5th ANNUAL QUALITY PATIENT SAFETY CONFERENCE CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
RCSI Hospital Group respects your privacy. Any personal information you volunteer will be treated securely in accordance with the General Data Protection Acts 1988 – 2018 and and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We will not collect any personal data about you without your clear permission.
Any personal information we do collect will only be retained for the duration necessary to allow us to provide the services that you have requested or for any additional period as required for legal and regulatory purposes.
By completing and submitting the 5th Annual RCSI Hospital Group Quality Patient Safety Conference Call for Abstracts form, you are agreeing to comply with the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern RCSI Hospital Group’s relationship with you.
Information we may collect from you:
- RCSI Hospital Group will collect personal information from you when you submit an abstract or register to attend an event through the online registration forms.
- The Personal Information part of the form correlates to your personal contact information. It will be used for internal use only and to contact you to provide information about the Conference.
- The Abstract Information part of the form correlates to the project being submitted. It will be used for evaluation purposes only by the RCSI Hospital Group team.
- If you contact us directly we may keep a record of that correspondence.
- This data may be held on computers or in manual files.
Use of your personal information:
- Communicate with you in regards to your submission(s).
General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR
The purpose for processing your data is to email you information pertaining to the 5th Annual RCSI Hospital Group Quality Patient Safety Conference. You have the following rights, in certain circumstances and subject to applicable exemptions, in relation to your personal data:
- the right to access the personal data that we hold about you, together with other information about our processing of that personal data
- the right to require us to rectify any inaccuracies in your personal data
- the right to require us to erasure your personal data
- the right to request that we no longer process your personal data for particular purposes
We will take all steps necessary to ensure that your personal data is treated securely and in accordance with GDPR.
We will not share your personal data with any third party without your written consent, except if requested by law.
If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please submit a request, outlining the specific details of the request to qpsconference@rcsihospitals.ie.
All valid requests will be processed without undue delay and in any event within one month of receipt of the request. This period may be extended by up to two further months where necessary.
Please note – Abstracts cannot be altered once they have been submitted.
